What was my role in this project?

My role was pure Flash development.

After the website has been provided, I have been given the task of the development of the website.

The website had to be build in Flash as the client wanted an animated user experience with visual effects.

About the client

Kitima is a luxurious neo Tai restaurant located in one of the most beautiful places in Cape Town area : Hout bay.

What are the skills I used during this project?

I used Flash to re- build the website, photoshop for some bulk slicing.

I coded in AS2 and used some third-party tweening classes, many timeline animations and incorporated some external plugins.

All the pictures, the sound in the website and the Gallery are loaded dynamically with XML.


The website is optimised for mobile devices(Iphone, Ipad etc..)
